Jolly Holidays

Hey y'all! I definitely didn't get to 15 blog posts but I did get to 10. That's impressive for me! Holiday season is busy. Speaking of the Holidays, I think it is time to do a Holiday Blog TAG - I found this on Makeup Pixi3, a great beauty blog I just started following. You're all tagged as well - even you Sarah even though you don't beauty blog! If you comment with a link to your blog answers, I'll link them up below! Get in the spirit.

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
A real tree definitely. It's not an option in our apartment living so we have a tree scented candle lit!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
Chai Latte made with eggnog. So. Freaking. Good. Or White Peppermint Mocha if I'm craving super sweet.

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
I guess I'm kind of a traditionalist because I like red and white. I would also love deep, rich jewel tones.

4.  Giving or receiving?
Giving. I am one of those crazy people who gets EVERYONE a present.

5.  To mince pie or not to?
I'm gonna say no.

6.  What's your traditional sunday lunch?
Whatever Ma cooks when I'm there? I don't really have a traditional Sunday lunch.. is the Sunday before after Christmas important? Maybe. I don't know.

7.  Christmas day fashion?
Pajamas most of the day. My family has a tradition of getting one present on Christmas Eve and it was ALWAYS new jammies. I love pajamas. That's what I will wear most of the day until I decide I want to look pretty and dress up classy.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?
Let It Snow. I love the snow, I wish it was snowing. I wish it snowed at all here. I also have a soft spot for I'll Be Home For Christmas.

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (old and new) and Charlie Brown Christmas.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?
In the morning! Traditionally, when we were kids we could open our stockings as soon as we woke up but had to wait until the parents woke up to open all the presents.

So that was that! Anyway, I'm pretty bummed I won't be going to the Okanagan for Christmas this year. I love and miss my mom, Marky (my stepdad!), and my sisters. It is the first Christmas Matt will be spending together though! He usually goes to his family for Christmas but this year is staying with me! We have our tree up and some decorations. It seems a little silly because we're probably moving on the 22nd but.. oh well. Don't forget you are tagged!
